Important Information

·        $50 non-refundable fee will be kept even if party is cancelled.

·        Full refunds (minus $50 fee) will be given for cancelations requested more than 2 weeks prior to the party. Half refunds will be given for cancelations requested less than 2 weeks prior to the party.

·        Max capacity per Party Room is 40 guests. 

·        Vouchers can be picked up as early as 9:00am the day of the party.

·        No latex balloons are allowed on grounds for animal safety. Mylar or foil balloons can be brought into the party room but cannot enter the zoo. 

·        The host can arrive 30 minutes before the party starts to set up and decorate. 

·        The Abilene Zoo Train, Carousel, and Giraffe Feeding close at 4:00 PM.

Abilene Zoo Camp

 Abilene Zoo Summer Camp operates under a Single Skill Exemption from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.

***Please take note that the registration/camp process may look different from years past.***

• Camps are separated by age instead of grade. We suggest going by what age they are as of June 1st, however, it is under the registering adults' discretion as to which group they are registered for. Age groups for 2026 are as follows: 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-13.  
• Instead of a package, you will be registering for the camp week as one item, with the Monday of each week as the start date. The full weeks dates are listed in the title of the camp. All camps run Monday through Friday. Tickets sent through email are not needed for entry into camp.
• There will not be a separate info/medical release form sent after registration. All needed information is asked at the time of registration and is required in order to register. 
• Camps will not repeat. There are 9 different camp options to choose from. 

 Drop off will start at 7:30am on Mondays (park and walk up)

and 7:45am Tuesday-Friday (curbside drop-off)

Camp starts at 8:00am

Pickup at 1:30 pm (along the sidewalk by the bus unloading sign)

Early Registration will open to members February 2nd

Open Registration will begin February 4th

Cost - $250 per week for members and $275 for non-members 

 ***If you must reschedule your Zoo Camp session, please be aware that there is a $25 rescheduling fee per camper per change if made within two weeks of the camp date.  

Cancelations/Refunds will be returned the full amount minus a $75 processing fee if requested at least 8 calendar days prior to camp week. Cancellations/Refunds requested 7 calendar days or less prior to camp week will not receive a refund.***    

If the camp you want to register for is full, please add your information to the waitlist by selecting the link below for the appropriate age group. You must submit a form for each child and each camp you want to register for.

The pavilion will seat 48-64 individuals at one time. (1 picnic table seats 6-8 people)

Rental does not include admission into the Zoo.

The facility will be cleaned and left in the same condition in which it was found. Compliance with all city, state, and federal laws is required. Alcoholic beverages, smoking, and gambling are not allowed in or around any park facility.

The individual(s) renting the facility shall take all trash to the nearest provided garbage receptacle.

No balloons, glitter, confetti, glass, alcohol, personal pets (service animals excluded), plastic straws, grills, or piñatas will be allowed on grounds for animal safety.

Sound levels must be kept to a minimum to not disturb others in or around the area. The use of amplified sound (voice and/or musical instruments) is permitted on a limited basis. The Zoo reserves the right to require individual(s) reserving the facility to reduce volume levels and/or eliminate all amplified sound that may be considered a nuisance to the adjacent areas.

Admission Gates close at 4:00 PM.
